Alexandra Park

Race 1 @ 5.46 pm - #2 Pacing Hope

She's racing honestly without getting all favours.  There are quite a few in form runners in the race so she'll need the breaks to go her way.  I'd like to think she can feature in the top half of the field.

Race 5 @ 7.36 pm - #4 Perfect Bet

This filly has really upped the ante.  She ran a 1.55 mile home in 55.7 when running second in the Nevele R Fillies heat so you can't ask for better than that.  I think she's a cracking chance.

Race 6 @ 8.01 pm - #1 Crusader, #8 Bad Medicine & #9 Outlaw Man

Crusader's last start effort was super when running a game third in the Northern 3 year old stakes.  His sectionals were on a par with Perfect Bet.  There's quite a bit of speed outside him but from the ace draw he should hold his own.  He's a tidy each way player.

If there's one thing you can say about Bad Medicine it's that he never lets you down.  I was rapt to see him finally get his day in the sun last start.  The outside draw makes it tough but he'll go his usual honest race.

From one on the second row it looks like Outlaw Man might get snookered away on the fence.  We'll hope for some luck and fingers crossed he can finish the race off with a cosy trip.

Race 7 @ 8.29 pm - #2 New York Minute, #3 Rough And Ready & #5 Taipo

While New York Minute is racing super, it'll be a hard ask against the three back markers.  If he can run in behind them I'll be happy.

The same can be said for Rough And Ready - he's racing well but continues to have to face up against the big boys.  He's as tough as teak and will certainly give you a great sight.  Look out for him when he gets into the right race.

Taipo's second to Kango in the Spring Cup was just what the doctor ordered.  I was really pleased to see him finishing the race off.  His work this week has been top notch.  He's a lovely top three contender.

Race 8 @ 9.00 pm - #4 Aflyin Spur

There may have been a minor issue niggling him the last couple of starts but I'm hopeful we're on top of it.  He's done everything right since so if this transpires to the race track he'll be back in the game.  Hopefully he can fill the quinella behind Bolt For Brillance.

Methven

Race 9 @ 3.44 pm - #11 Kango

The big boy has settled into his new surroundings without a hitch.  He had his final hit out this morning and I couldn't have been happier with him.  You always need luck on your side in these races so let's hope he can find plenty of it.  I do expect him to go a cheeky race.
