Race 2 @ 6.01 pm - #2 Glenthorne, #4 Bad Medicine & #6 Wild Card
We have half the field in this race so let's hope we can get some of the spoils.
We start with Glenthorne who's drawn perfectly at barrier two. He's back on a fresh campaign after one workout so whatever he does he'll improve on. His gate speed makes him one worth covering in minor combinations.
Bad Medicine has been racing super against tightly assessed runners. There are two very smart 3 year old's in this race but he can give them plenty of cheek. He's a key player.
Wild Card got home with plenty of purpose at Cambridge last week. I see him as a trifecta/first four player.
Race 7 @ 8.06 pm - #2 Taipo, #3 Memphis Tennessee, #4 Rough And Ready & #5 New York Minute
Once again we have a great spread in this race.
Taipo is back in business after a layoff. I couldn't have asked for anything more from him at the workouts on Friday. I do have a concern about his standing start manners, but if he steps cleanly Old Town Road won't have it alone.
Memphis Tennessee went terrific first up at Alexandra Park getting home in 55.7. He can definitely feature when the guns are cracking.
Our big boy Rough And Ready is as tough as teak. The harder they go the better he'll love it. Keep him safe.
Mr Honest New York Minute is our fourth runner. If the breaks go his way he'll give a handy account of himself.
Race 8 @ 8.33 pm - #7 Aflyin Spur
His first run back in over two months was spot on. I'm surprised he's at $8.50 and $2.70. He's a lovely each way contender.
