Race 4 @ 6.24 pm - #1 Rubble & #5 Perfect Bet
Rubble makes his debut for the stable following two handy workouts. He's a nice maiden who will definitely benefit from the outing. He has the perfect draw so I don't expect him to be far away when the whips are cracking.
Our second runner Perfect Bet got a bit lost last start at Alexandra Park but put in a very handy performance all the same. She's a progressive filly who has trained on nicely since. I see her as a strong each way hope.
Race 9 @ 8.36 pm - #3 Kango
Unfortunately things didn't go our way in the Messenger and the early burn took its toll. He appears to have bounced through the run so it's onwards and upwards. Mile racing is always tricky so we're in the lap of the gods a bit. I'm hoping he'll run a cheeky race.
Race 10 @ 9.01 pm - #4 Wild Card & #8 New York Minute
We start with Wild Card who is racing super. He stepped away really well at the workouts on the weekend so I'm sure he won't be phased by the stand. While it's a step up in grade, I'm sure he'll be competitive. He's a top three prospect.
It's going to be a tough ask for New York Minute off a 35 metre handicap. Hopefully he begins well and doesn't have to do any extra. If he can get a drag into late in the piece he'll make his presence felt.
