Race 2 @ 6.33 pm - #11 Aflyin Spur
We kick off the night with the in form Aflyin Spur. Following his win last week he's gone back 10 metres but given it's 2700 he's got plenty of time to make up the ground. He'd have to be a leading contender.
Race 3 @ 7.02 pm - #9 Perfect Bet
This royally bred filly is making her debut. She's had 3 workouts and progressed nicely with each one. One on the second row is perfect first up. With the right run through, I'd like to think she's one to cover in all combinations.
Race 4 @ 7.28 pm - #11 Crusader
While barrier 11 may not look appealing, Crusader does follow out a horse who can leave the gate. With a couple of scratchings he gets into the race well. He's a tidy each way hope.
Race 5 @ 7.55 pm - #8 New York Minute
Put a line through his last few starts. His work this week has been super so I think he's back in the game. Once again, he's a lovely each way chance.

Race 8 @ 8.12 pm - #1 Bad Medicine & #17 Rough And Ready
I'm pretty chuffed to have 2 in the Country Championship starting with Bad Medicine. I believe this horse really deserves to be here. He's raced consistently since he stepped out onto a race track. He'll run a very honest race off the front tape.
It's a big field so Rough And Ready will have to clear a bit of traffic along the way. While the Telfer runner will be very hard to beat, this guy won't shrink the fight. He's a top three player.
