Cambridge - 7 April 2022
Race 6 @ 7.38 pm - #3 Wild Card & #6 Taipo
We start with Wild Card who has a very tidy draw to contend with. He didn't really get the chance to get into it last start over the sprint distance. It's a small field and I believe he's up to them. I think he's a very tidy each way chance.
Moving onto Taipo. Well we're back to the mobile after he missed away both days at Palmy. This bloke has been a real head scratcher lately. On his best form he's a very handy horse. I'm really hoping the real Taipo turns up.
Race 7 @ 8.03 pm - #8 Aflyin Spur
He's racing super this horse and I don't think the 35 metre handicap will cause too many concerns. On exposed form he gets into the race well so he'd have to be a leading contender.
Alexandra Park - 8 April 2022
Race 7 @ 8.51 pm - #6 Outlaw Man
I was hoping for a handier draw as I think he's a better leader than a follower. There are a couple of smart types in here so it'll make it tough. His final hit out on Tuesday was very promising. He's one to cover in trifecta/first four combinations.
Addington - 8 April 2022
Race 1 @ 5.19 pm - #8 Berrylicious Babe
Unfortunately nothing seems to have gone her way since we've had her. Barrier 8 over the short distance is far from ideal. While I'm not one to give driving instructions, I'll be telling DJB to sit for as long as he can. Let's hope we see her finishing the race off.
Race 6 @ 7.45 pm - #3 Kango
The big boy slots into this race nicely. He's settled in well and I'm very happy with his work. As we all know, open class racing isn't easy. Having said this, he's a lovely win/place bet.
