Rough And Ready back in the game
Rough And Ready has been a real keeper for the stable having now won 9 races. It was always going to be hard for the horses off handicaps when this guy rolled along even then dropped a quick last 800m. I was rapt to see him back in winning form.
The lightly raced Wild Card picks up victory number 3
After forging past stablemate Glenthorne to find the lead Wild Card fought off a strong challenge to pick up his third win. Glenthorne was game in defeat chasing him up the passing lane. While I thought the result would be the other way round, we’ll take any win we get.
