Cambridge - 28 March 2025

Race 4 @ 6.43pm - #11 Skys Legacy
I was very happy with his first start back last week. He has a second row draw and a big field to overcome, but I wouldn't count him out. He's well over the odds.

Race 6 @ 7.37pm - #6 The Surfer & #12 Rough And Ready
The Surfer
was very good a fortnight ago and gets in well. He looks one of the leading contenders.

Rough And Ready is racing great. While it'll be hard off 20 metres over the sprint, I'm sure he'll go an honest race.

Race 7 @ 8.02pm - #3 Little Spike & #10 Kango
We start with Little Spike who has stepped up to the big time in fine fashion. If he gets a handy run he can feature.

I don't believe two on the second line is the worst draw for Kango. If there are fireworks early, he'll be able to stay out of the rush. Once again, he'll give his best.

Manawatu - 30 March 2025

Race 3 @ 5.39pm - #4 Beta Prepare
He makes his return after a freshen up. On exposed form he's one to cover in quinella, trifecta and first four multiples.

Race 4 @ 6.07pm - #6 Le Major, #7 Final Change & #8 Joes Rock
We have a strong hand in this race so let's hope we bring home another Cup.

Making his Manawatu debut is Le Major. He stuck on bravely off the back of a tough trip last start. Escaping Auckland company makes him very appealing.

Final Change has a super record on the track and there's plenty to like about the way he's been winning. He's a definite include.

Our third runner Joes Rock is also escaping Auckland company. She looks a great chance.

Race 5 @ 6.38pm - #3 Ragnar Lothbrok
He broke maidens nicely on Tuesday. I'm not expecting the step up in grade to phase him. He looks a nice each way player.
