Race 7 @ 7.50pm - #4 The Surfer, #11 Little Spike & #12 Mako
What a great lineup this is. We're very fortunate to have three nice 3 year olds competing at Group 1 level.
It was great to see The Surfer back in form last week. He's landed a handy draw, so if he can stay close to the pace, I'm sure he'll give a tidy account of himself.
Mako was game in defeat last week. While he starts from the second row, he follows out the right horse in Chase A Dream. With luck on his side, he can surprise at good odds.
Little Spike has been racing good, off bad draws. A lot will depend on what happens in the running, but with the right trip I believe he'll be competitive at this level.
