It was a non-event first up in a big field however, he made up plenty of ground in the straight. From a good draw, he looks a leading hope.
R7 @ 8.11pm - #1 Shez The One
It's an even field, but she won't have to do much extra from the draw. I'd like to think she's a top 3 chance.

Race 2 @ 6.03pm - #6 Beta Prepare
I was initially disappointed with his last start effort, but sometimes sectionals tell a different story. This was the case, as he closed out his last 800 in 56.8 which was the quickest of any runner. He can get some of the money.
Race 4 @ 7.04pm - #9 Jolimont
He can't do anything wrong, but the only thing that stands against him is the draw. With an ounce of luck, he'll be hard to contain.
Race 7 @ 8.29pm - #4 The Surfer & #5 Little Spike
The Surfer was very tidy last week. It's a great field of 3 year olds but I think he's a horse with a nice future. I'm sure he'll go an honest race.
Little Spike comes in fresh after missing a start last week but performed nicely at the workouts. He'll need plenty of luck but hopefully he gets it.
Race 8 @ 8.56pm - #2 Kango
No one could deny the big fella first up. He'll definitely benefit from having a run under his belt, and I'm confident he's a competitive chance.
