Race 2 @ 5.38pm - #2 Carolina Moon & #3 Shez The One

Our first runner is Carolina Moon.  It's a big field of maiden fillies and mares, but hopefully she lands close to the pace and gets her chance.

It was a tough ask for Shez The One first up so we'll be looking for a softer trip.  Her key advantage is barrier 3 over the sprint.  Stick with her as I think she'll be right amongst it.

Race 6 @ 7.37pm - #5 The Surfer

The Surfer is resuming after a tidy workout at Pukekohe last week.  He's a progressive type and on exposed form looks well placed.

Race 7 @ 8.04pm - #1 Denny

Denny meets an even line up and he's turned up his favourite draw.  He's racing super and I see no reason this won't continue.

Race 10 @ 9.35pm - #7 Beta Prepare

I've been really happy with his work and he backed this up with a nice workout last week.  He'll definitely benefit from the outing, but I do think he's over the odds.

Race 11 @ 10.00pm - #3 Bad Medicine & #6 New York Minute

Bad Medicine fought strongly last start and ended up being less than a length from the winner.  He looks a tidy chance.

I thought New York Minute hit the line hard in what was his second run back.  If he gets a cosy sit off them he'd have a better sprint than most.  On paper he'd have to be a key runner.
