Race 1 @ 5.06pm - #7 Tequila Sunrise

She finally got her day in the sun yesterday and meets the same field again just off a handicap.  She's one to cover in your trifecta/first four combinations.

Race 3 @ 5.54pm - #6 Carolina Moon

I'd have to say she was disappointing on day 1.  From her wide draw she'll need everything to go her way.

Race 4 @ 6.28pm - #7 Turnpike Joe

I was happy with his debut effort as he kept fighting right to the line.  Even though he's drawn awkwardly, he can feature in the finish.

Race 5 @ 6.54pm - #3 Denny & #7 Bad Medicine

Our newcomer to the meeting is Denny who comes in with fresh legs.  He stuck on gamely at Cambridge last week on a hot pace.  With the draw on his side he's a tidy each way player.
Bad Medicine our Wairarapa Cup winner gets back in nicely.  He'll have to work overtime from a wide barrier but I expect him to run a very handy race again.

Race 7 @ 7.44pm - #2 Pacing Hope

It was another brave effort yesterday.  She meets a moderate line up and won't have to do much extra.  One who looks a handy each way bet.

Race 8 @ 8.09pm - #5 Mr President

He was too good for them on day 1 and looks well placed to repeat the dose.
