Our Southern find chalking up the wins

Denny clearly hasn't taken any harm from his win last night
Denny clearly hasn't taken any harm from his win last night

When you watched his first 7 starts he looked like a mediocre maiden who didn't stamp his trial and workout form.

That's now in the past for Denny after he notched up win number 3 since joining our team.

"When he arrived less than two months ago we didn't know what to expect" said Donnelly.  "We gave him a few days off then jogged him for a week.  It's fair to say we were quietly surprised when we hoppled him for the first time.  While we don't do a lot with him, and don't generally ask him to run up, he always gives you a great feel."

Nothing could be taken away from stablemate Third Time who closed hard for second in what was only his third start.

Later in the night it was maiden Red Rackham who put it all together and ran a very gallant third.

Denny's victory concluded a very successful six months for the team at ADHR with 20 wins on the board.  It's ironic that the stock of Art Major are responsible for 13 of the 20 wins.  The question being "do we like an Art Major.  I'll leave the answer to you said Donnelly."
