R2 @ 6:18pm - #3 Pacing Hope

She got her run last week and duly obliged.  With a handy trip I'd like to think she can find her way into the top four or five.  However, a win would be better given her connections have named the race after her and late part owner Terry Walker.

R4 @ 7:10pm - #1 Denny & #4 Third Time

We start with Denny who couldn't find clear air last start.  I'm hoping he can do enough to hold up.  If luck transpires, he's a tidy each way player.

Our next runner Third Time has a draw which gives him options.  I don't expect the step up in grade to phase him.  I'd have to say he's another nice each way hope. Maybe the quinella appeals?

R6 @ 8:02pm - #2 Crusader, #6 New YorkMinute & #7 Rough And Ready

Crusader hasn't had a lot of luck his last two starts.  Starting off the front tape could be the difference.  If he can step and keep them honest he could be the smokey of the night.

What can I say about New York Minute who notched up win number 14 three weeks ago.  A 20 metre handicap over 2200 poses a tough ask but you can't count him out.

Rough And Ready the co backpacker with his stablemate is in the same boat.  If they run hard I think it'll suit him.  Hopefully he gets one shot at them.

R7 @ 8:27pm - #9 Red Rackham

We achieved our main aim last week which was to get him around safely.  A smaller field and starting alone on the second row is a perfect combination.  Stick with him, he's not far away from showing his true worth.
