Thursday night at Alexandra Park saw Arna Donnelly Harness Racing add another 2 winners to the season tally.
Third Time, Kango's half brother picked up his first victory at only his second start. Later in the night we saw the ever loyal New York Minute notch up his fourteenth win.
Third Time was driven to perfection by stable junior driver Zev Meredith. Donnelly was full of praise for the up and coming driver. "Zev let him balance up off the mobile before making his run for the top. When the other horse was coming at him late in the piece he never got anxious."
"I'm rapt for Bruce as he's waited a long time for this horse and we've had a few hiccups along the way" said Donnelly.
New York Minute's win was special in more ways than one. Previously he's been responsible for bringing up career win number 200 and 250 for Arna. Thursday's victory bought up another milestone as he currently sits at the top of the leader board as being the horse whose won the most races in the blue and white silks.
