Race 1 @ 5:25pm - #7 Virginia Clowers

It's a big drop in grade for her and the way she's been racing against Group company it looks as though she'll be hard to beat.

Race 2 @ 5:52pm - #4 Third Time

A super effort for second first up at big odds.  He has a handy draw to play with so must be considered a lovely each way chance.

Race 5 @ 7:08pm - #5 Pacing Hope

She all but got there last week.  Skylou looks awfully hard to contain but I'm sure she'll go another honest race.  I'd like to think she can run in the top five.

Race 6 @ 7:33pm - #9 Denny
This wee bloke is racing great.  While it's a step up in class, you can't discount him with luck.  If the horse he follows out holds up he can feature.

Race 8 @ 8:23pm - #3 New York Minute, #4 Crusader & #6 Rough And Ready

It was a walk and sprint last start for New York Minute and while it looked like he didn't make ground, he still cut out a half in 55.9.  I see him as a top four contender.

Our warhorse Rough And Ready is back in the game after producing a very good workout win a few weeks ago.  He's one to cover in your quinellas/trifecta.

Crusader was luckless at Cambridge last week after getting blocked for a run.  It's going to be a very hard ask against the big players, but one advantage he has is his great gate speed.
