Race 3 @ 6:23pm - #2 Pacing Hope & #12 Denny
We start with Pacing Hope who didn't get the rub of the green last week. From her handy draw she looks one to cover in minor combinations.
Hats off to Denny who kicked off his Northern debut in style. A second row draw and big field makes it a tough ask, but on exposed form he's not without a chance.
Race 4 @ 6:50pm - #7 Red Rackham
Our debutant Red Rackham has had two workouts and progressed nicely with each outing. He's a tidy maiden, but we'll be looking for luck from his wide draw. With a good run, he won't be far off them.
Race 7 @ 8:08pm - #12 Crusader
While he's the best performed runner in the race, a big field and bad draw makes it hard with two in form horses starting from barrier 2 and 3. I'd sway towards him being a top three contender.
Race 8 @ 8:33pm - #7 Mr President
He's racing great, and slides into a winnable race. I don't think he'll be far away from picking up his second victory.
Alexandra Park - 19 May 2023
Race 5 @ 7:22pm - #5 Kango
I was really happy with his workout on Friday. While it's always tough against the topliners, I do expect him to run a cheeky race.
Race 8 @ 8:53pm - #8 Virginia Clowers
She's racing great, but has a horror draw. Let's hope we can find a cosy spot and get home late in the piece.
Race 10 @ 9:45pm - #3 New York Minute
There are two very smart horses in the race but he can fill the trifecta/first four.
